Lunch with Brian

I had pulled pork tacos with pineapple salsa. Yum. The rice and beans weren't all that great. Brian had nachos that looked delicious. Then we walked across the street to Nau's Enfield Drug to the soda fountain. I wasn't going to get anything, but Brian ordered a chocolate ice cream soda. I didn't know what that was. I'd heard of floats, shakes and malts. Brian said it was chocolate ice cream with soda poured over it. The waitress was standing right there listening. So I turned to her and said it sounded good, and I would like one, too. Then I watched her put vanilla ice cream into a glass and mix it with chocolate syrup and soda. Then she topped it off with a huge scoop of vanilla ice cream. Vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup IS NOT chocolate ice cream. I was very (probably unreasonably) upset. I didn't feel like sending it back, though. So it just sat there in front of me uneaten while Brian ate his. Then I asked her to put it in a to go cup. I offered it to a few people back at work, but ended up throwing it away.
